Modelen code and model weights will be offered under the Apache License 2.0 once released. Full text: apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0 and the LICENSE file in the repository.

Important notes

• Base model: Qwen3-0.6B-Base (Alibaba Cloud), used in our first experiments, is licensed under Apache-2.0. We will state the licence of every base model we use.
• Training data: Turkish Wikipedia text used in early experiments is published under licences such as CC BY-SA / GFDL. The conditions under which weights trained on such data can be released are subject to legal review; we will announce the outcome here.
• Trademark: Apache-2.0 grants no permission to use the name and logo "Modelen".
• Warranty: Software and models are provided "as is", without warranty.
